CHOIRS

Marjorie Slinn directs several voice and handbell choirs that inspire the prayers and praise of the whole congregation. These choirs practice to lead us all in worship:

UNITED CHURCH WOMEN

The purpose is to unite women of the congregation for the total mission of the church and to provide a medium through which they may express their loyalty and devotion to Jesus Christ in Christian witness, study, fellowship and service.

Units: J.O.Y. - Meets lst Wednesday @ 9:30 a.m.

Martha -

Good News - Meets 3rd Wednesday @ 7:30 p.m.

Fellowship - Meets 4th Wednesday @ 2:00 p.m.

UNITED CHURCH MEN

The men meet for Golf once a year. They also coordinate the annual Turkey Dinner in October

TRI-M

Couples and singles: The Tri-M group welcomes every Mr., Mrs. & Ms. to an evening each month of worship and a program of entertainment or interest. There is always a time of food and fellowship. This large group usually meets on the fourth Friday of each month at 8:00 p.m. 2009 celebrates 50 years of Tri-M !

ADULT BIBLE STUDY

Adult Bible Study is usually conducted by the minister every Tuesday, 6:30-8:00 p.m. from September to June. This is a supportive, prayerful gathering with plenty of lively discussion. This large group is open to all who are interested. We read and discuss the readings for the following Sunday service.

IN-TOUCH

An active pastoral care group in this congregation works hard to keep the congregation connected. In-Touch Lunch is held the first Friday of each month in the gym. A wonderful lunch is the setting for you to meet the people with whom you worship. You are invited to stay after and play cards or games in the Friendship Room. This group also calls, sends cards and visits those unable to come to worship as well as those who we are praying for and with each week. Please call the office if you know of someone who needs pastoral care with the minister or the In-touch Committee.

WALK WITH ME

We are pleased to have a dedicated group of walkers gather in the gym and through the halls every Monday and Thursday at 10:00 a.m.

Each session starts with some guided warm up exercises. You can join anytime.

Sew With Me

Friday Morning there is an opportunity to work on your sewing skills while giving to the wider world. The sewers gather and bring lunch wile working on mission projects together. You are always welcome!

SOCIAL EVENTS

Everything from movie and dinner, to intergenerational events after worship are planned from time to time. Always open to ideas! These are just opportunities to be together as a faith community. Notice of all such events are found in the Sunday bulletin or newsletter.
